A really strange April Fools joke from Jagex would be to say, that McDonalds now sponsors Runescape.

There will be a McDonalds-restaurant in each major city, selling burgers and stuff for gp, which will generally heal better than the other food in Runescape.

In return for this the players will avoid a 100% rise in membership fee.

Negative XP

Again, just for fun, some thoughts about April fools suggestion for Runescape. And one could be negative XP. You never loose XP you have earned, as it is now, but it could change. What if you lost construction XP, if you didn't mow the lawn around your player owned house (POH) once every week?

Wouldn't that be fun ... ?

April Fools 2012 - part 2

I thought of a few more things they could use for April Fools next year:

• A chainsaw you can get with a suitably high level in woodcutting. It would require gas of some sort, so now there is an oilfield somewhere in the desert, and a minigame for destillation of oil - like "Trouble Brewing".
• A bicycle letting you go faster than running, if you have a suitably high level in agility. Since it is big, it will take two inventory spaces.

April Fools 2012

Well past April 1st in 2011, I was thinking what Jagex could use for April fools next year.

• Add a new skill: sex. You need to consent with another partner to earn XP. Just like running you need to rest once in a while. There will be a potion equivalent to a Viagra-pill. The graphics part will be a challenge for Jagex.
• Add toilets. Actually you eat a lot, but it never produces results in the other end. Imaging fighting a monster, eating monkfish, and suddenly you have to find a toilet before fighting on.

May I have your suggestions in the comments?

Runescape is addicting....

I've played Runescape a few years now.

It's fun - in a way. A nuisance sometimes. But addicting.

Anyway - I think I will write something in this blog about Runescape, once in a while.
